Как описать тролля из «Снежной королевы» Х.К. Андерсена?

Сказка про Снежную королеву начинается со знакомства с волшебным существом — троллем, который придумал необычное зеркало, отражающее хорошие качества человека в искаженном виде. Писатель так и говорит, что тролль был злющий-презлющий (если верить переводу).
Удивителен тот факт, что находясь в хорошем расположении духа, тролль совершал самые мерзкие свои пакости, как например, описанное ранее зеркало. Его забавляло, что люди выглядят уродами, а красивые лужайки и газоны напоминают вареный шпинат (не плохое сравнение, верно?).
Тролль просто захлебывался от удовольствия, когда понял, что разбитое на осколки зеркало еще сильнее наносит вред обществу, т.к. мелкие частички, разлетевшись по свету, попали в глаза и сердца большего количества людей, сделав из черствыми, равнодушными и грубыми. Писатель сравнивает тролля с дьяволом, для которого торжество (победа) зла — главный жизненный принцип.
В рабочей тетрадке, давая характеристику этому персонажу, я записала так:
- Каким был тролль из сказки про Снежную королеву? Злым, мерзким, противным, жестоким, ужасным, чудовищным, изобретательным (т.е. умным), самоуверенным, с завышенной самооценкой и наглым (если помните эпизод о том, как его ученики решили полететь к Творцу).

Тролль имел отвратительную внешность. И таким же был его характер. Наивысшим удовольствием для него было наблюдать за страданием несчастных и обиженных, видеть слёзы на глазах у людей. Он ненавидел красоту и доброту. Ненависть к прекрасному сочеталась в его злобной душе с желанием всё вокруг сделать уродливым и злым. Поэтому в его голову пришла идея о волшебном зеркале, которое искажало реальность, делало мир ужасным. В каждом осколке разбитого зеркала была часть ничтожной, пропитанной злобой души тролля. Они превращали людей в бессердечных и бесчувственных, не способных понимать и видеть прекрасное. А тролль смеялся от радости, когда новый осколок поселял в людях жестокость или уродовал красоту.

В сказке Андерсена «Снежная королева» кроме собственно королевы главные герои Кай и Герда. Но все начинается в ней с разбитого зеркала, что принадлежало троллю. Именно его осколок угодил в самое сердце Каю и испортил мальчика.

Представьте, что будет, если в человека вселились злость, разочарование, алчность, горделивость и другие нехорошие качества. Всеми этими качествами был наполнен осколок, который попал Каю в глаз, а потом и проник в самое сердце. В начале сказки говорится про северные страны, откуда прилетает на своих санях Снежная королева, упоминается Лапландия, но вот эта страна в клеточки не вписывается. Вспоминаем сказку, в тех моментах, когда Герда уже на олене по северным странам путешествовала в поисках Кая. Она сначала попала к лапландке, а потом уже к финке.

Двое детей- Кай и Герда были соседями и друзьями. Однажды Кай, читая книгу возле кустов роз, почувствовал что у него кольнуло в сердце и что-то попало в глаз. Как-то зимой, катаясь на санках, Кай увидел ослепительную женщину, он привязал свои санки к её саням и они уехали. А после того как Снежная Королёва завернула Кая в свою шубу и поцеловала, он забыл всех своих близких людей. Герда любила Кая как брата и отправилась на его поиски.
Сначала Герда попала к старушке-чародейке, у которой был очень красивый сад, где всегда было лето. Заколдованная Герда забыла всё, но, увидев кусты роз, чары пали. Девочка всё вспомнила и спросила у роз о Кае. Цветы ответили, что под землёй его нет, а значит он жив.
По дороге Герда встретила ворона, невеста которого жила во дворце. Вороны сообщили, что принцесса выходит замуж. Герда с их помощью попадает во дворец, но женихом оказывается не Кай. Послушав Герду, принцесса подарила ей золотую карету со слугами и красивую одежду.
Продолжая поиски Кая, Герда попадает в плен к разбойникам, которые убивают её слуг. Маленькая разбойница знакомит девочку со своими зверями. Голуби рассказывают Герде о том, что видели как Снежная Королёва увезла Кая в Лапландию. Маленькая разбойница сжалилась над Гердой и отпустила её вместе с северным оленем.

Я понимаю название так. Снежная Королева — повелительница льда и снега, вечного холода и северного сияния. Снежной королеве подчиняются вихри и бураны, она может наслать ледяную пургу, мрак и холод. Может забрать сердце и превратить его в кусок льда. Но…! Это всего лишь сказочный персонаж, и имя ей дал великий сказочник Ганс Христиан Андерсен.

Orm is the secondary antagonist turned deuteragonist of The Snow Queen franchise. He is a lying troll who faithfully served the Snow Queen until he met a girl named Gerda and her white weasel, Luta, who allowed the troll to know the values of friendship, which allowed him to rebel against the Snow Queen.
In the Russian Dub, he is voiced by Ivan Okhlobystin for the two first movie and by Diomid Vinogradov for the two last movies.
In the English version, Orm was voiced by Doug Erholtz for the first movie, Sharlto Copleyin the sequel and Billy Bob Thompson for the two last movies.
Personality
Orm was already a liar during his childhood, but it is mostly as an adult that this has become his biggest issue. His second fault is his cowardly, especially when it comes to the Snow Queen that he feared more than anything until he finally had the courage to rebel against her.
Before meeting Gerda, Orm was vile, indifferent, pretentious and did not value friendship, but after spending time with Gerda and Luta, his bad behavior eventually faded even though he was still a bit of a coward and a liar.
History
Long before the film’s events, Orm lived with his grandmother, Rosa in the troll village during his early childhood. One day he accidentally broke the mirror of his great-grandmother but he did not say anything until he saw Rosa cried because she thought she was the one who had broken her because of her age. Unable to see that, little Orm admitted it was him and instead of scolding him, she thanked him for telling the truth.
When the Snow Queen appeared, his presence spawned a conflict between two troll kings who started a bloody war in the Imana Caves. Orm, who at the time was an adult, was involved in the war but his cowardice and fear drove him to hide while the other trolls clashed violently. In the end, only Orm survived after this war was over but the Snow Queen had frozen all that was left of his people, leaving Orm alone and abandoned. Some time later he became the servant of the Snow Queen.
The Snow Queen
In the Ice Kingdom, Orm is first seen licking the queen’s throne until his tongue sticks to it and then he tries to unstick it from all force just to get there after bumping into the throne. Later the evil queen summons him for the task of finding the last descendant of Vegard. He left first until the Snow Queen reminds him that she has not yet to give him the order and warns him that if he starts doing so, it will freeze before giving him a magic vial allowing call both locating the descendant and calling the north wind when he finds it. Orm then goes away assuring that he will be back tomorrow with the child.
His optimism proved exaggerated because it was only thirteen years later that he found the track of the child at St Peter’s orphanage. Exhausted by the journey, Orm fainted in the form of a ferret at the door of the orphanage before being picked up by a young boy named Kai who turns out to be the descendant of Vegard he had come to get. The troll then wakes up in a barrel of coal and sees the flask shining, then heads out of the barrel and sees Kai talking with a girl named Gerda, understanding that he has finally found the descendant of Vegard. After seeing the director of the orphanage throw Kai’s drawings into the boiler, Orm sees an opportunity to manipulate the boy with emotions by telling him that he has a unique artist talent and by promising him send to a place where there are many people like him. Kai asks him some time to think about what Orm accepts but gives him until tonight to take his deciscion because he can only invoke the north wind when he sees the North Star.
In the evening, Orm joins Kai in the boiler room to take him away but he realizes that the flask is shining for something else, so the troll asks the boy if he has family, which Kai responds that he had a sister but he does not remember her because he was just a baby. Having no desire to look for another descendant of Vegard, Orm tries to convince Kai to get out that his sister died with their parents until Gerda who listened to everything behind the door shows up after realizing that she was the lost sister of Kai. Luta, Gerda’s weasel sniffs Orm before Gerda picks her up but drops her father’s magic mirror, which has the power to reveal the true nature of things and therefore when Orm looks in, the mirror drops a magic flash that overturns the troll on the ground while revealing its true form. In the fall the flask breaks, invoking the north wind that carries the four people. Orm clings to Kai’s legs, but Luta grabs his nose and hits his left eye before biting his nose, spanking him with Gerda who had grabbed his leg. While Kai is taken to the Ice Kingdom, the other three fall into the mountain.
The troll wakes up at the top of a tree and blames Gerda for all failed until the girl attacks him with snowball. Intrigued by her magic mirror, Orm asks her where she got it and learns that she has always had it but he lowers his guard and receives a snowball in the face and falls from the tree although he is sure she is another Vegard child. Gerda then forces him to drive her to Kai, whom Orm refuses but he ends up giving in after Luta tries to twist his ankle. The ice then gives way under his feet and the troll falls on the icy slope and fails to fall into the ravine until Gerda and Luta on another ice surf can manage to intercept it in time just before crashing in a mysterious garden.
Inside, Orm suggests stealing something to eat what Gerda dislikes who prefers asked the occupants of it, amusing Orm who tells Gerda that she does not know much about human nature before throwing a stone in the grass to reveal a trap. When an old woman arrives, Orm prefers to disappear to avoid spinning a heart attack. When the old lady offers tea to Gerda, the little girl gives Luta a biscuit that makes Orm envy until the white weasel eats it under his nose, which makes him anxious. When Luta hunts a butterfly, Orm grabs her by the neck and is about to take revenge for what she did to her during the tornado of the north wind until Luta tells her that the old lady has bad intentions for Gerda. Orm discovers that the old woman who turns out to be a witch to plans to have Gerda drink a potion of amnesia after drinking it himself. He exposes the witch in front of Gerda who decides to leave but the witch refuses and attacks the trio with giant plants. After a chase through the garden, Orm, Gerda and Luta manage to reach the exit door and escape the witch.
Continue the journey to the Ice Kingdom, Orm makes fun of Gerda for having trusted the witch too much, although she accepts his fault while thanking him for saving him, which pushes the troll to make the swagger by saying that it can turn into a polar bear. They then enter the caves where the bloody battle of the trolls took place. While trying to make Gerda understand that he was the only surviving troll of the battle describing himself stronger and brave than he really was that day he finds himself at the very top and asks Gerda to leave before and that he will join her after. As she descends, Orm begins to question her so-called friendship with the girl until the Snow Queen appears in the reflection of the ice. Orm accidentally reveals that he is being beaten by the girl and the weasel who is enervating the queen who calls him a stupid incompetent good-for-nothing and that she will freeze him if he fails once more before disappearing, leaving the troll to his despair. Orm arrives just in time to stops Gerda to watching the Lake of Truth as he warned her about the lake when they arrived. As he crosses the ice bridge overhanging the lake, Orm slips and struggles to grasp but fortunately for him, Gerda helps him back up until the cave begins to collapse on them. In extremis, they manage once more to escape death.
Outside again, they are attacked by a slightly stamped king who was hunting , until he is stuck on a tree in the meanwhile. They bring the king back to his castle, which he shares with his two children until one of his children accidentally sets the castle on fire. Surviving the events, the trio is offered a sled by the royal family to thank them for helping them to become a family again. On the way, pirates lure the trio into a trap and take them as prisoners into their ships, which stood on a frozen sea. Gerda convinced them that she could defeat the evil queen. Advised by the captain, the trio goes to a shaman who refuses to let Orm enter her igloo because he is a troll, forcing him to freeze outside. Once the shaman tells Gerda the story and how to defeat the Snow Queen, the trio make the way to the Ice Kingdom.
While they are in sight of the castle of Snow Queen, Orm having too much fear of what will happen tries to divert their sailing boat advancing thanks to the wind, Gerda tries to stop him but the boat spills. Recovering from the fall, Orm tries to dissuade Gerda from continuing because according to him, it is impossible to defeat the queen, only for the girl calls him a coward what the troll answer he prefers to be a coward alive that a dead hero. As she leaves, Gerda says with disappointment that she believed that he had really changed, leaving the troll alone again.
After a change of heart, Orm goes to the castle and comforts Gerda saddened by the apparent death of Kai. The Snow Queen suddenly appears before them to finish his work. The demonic queen congratulates Orm for completing his mission and gives him back his freedom, but the troll asks that in favor of all his years at the services of the queen who have only been suffering for him, she let Gerda leave only for the queen him answer that it was both very brave on his part but especially totally stupid to have dared to ask him such a thing and that it will make him regret once it will be finished with Gerda. Orm continues to stand up to him until the Snow Queen tries to turn Gerda against Orm, telling her that he is not his friend and that he will never be anything but a vulgar cowardly troll. Stung by this latest insult to him, Orm screams his name angrily, pushing the Snow Queen to summon his ice monsters for all killed. In the fight Orm managed to change polar bear by saving Luta before competing with the north wind itself against which it is not match.
Before being finished by the monster, Orm is saved by Gerda who has managed to defeat the Snow Queen by transforming her into who she really is: a little girl named Irma. With the queen gone, the castle collapses but everyone survives. Orm having lost consciousness during his last fight resumes its normal form but still unconscious. Luta managed to wake him up by biting his nose and although the troll got angry because she had to start again, he calmed down immediately after the weasel gave him a soft hug.
The Snow Queen 2
After the previous film events and serves as the main protagonist, Orm returned to live among his fellows but he refrained from telling them that he had been the servant of the Snow Queen for fear of being rejected.
At the beginning of the film, Orm goes to Lake of Truth still intact to both confess his mistakes, remember his adventures with Gerda and make the promise never to tell lies again.
Orm lives at his grandmother’s house with Luta while Gerda and Kai are out at their orphanage. Things begin to escalate quickly for the poor troll: he loses his job at the mine after disrespecting Arrog, one of the best knights in the troll realm, and the greedy banker threatens to seize his grandmother’s house.
Desperate, Orm looks at his reflection that seems to be alive and advises him to participate in the competition to marry the niece of the troll king, Princess Maribel and thus save his miserable situation. During the contest, Orm says that it was he who beat the Snow Queen and not Gerda who was right there when he told this lie, creating a deep tear in their friendship.
As Orm’s situation begins to get better thanks to his lies, a mysterious wave of magical cold from the fallen Kingdom of the Snow Queen comes to the trolls and kidnaps the princess and takes her to the ice castle. Orm, accompanied by other trolls left along with General Arrog to save his «promised» while his reflect begins to become more alive and pushes him more in a darker way.
During the journey, relations between Orm and the others deteriorate more and more until the liar troll ends up dropping them to arrive alone at the ice castle.
Arrived at destination, Orm begins to regret having lied to everyone and to have hurt Gerda but his reflection tries to convince him otherwise, to which Orm tries to pay no attention because he does not is that its reflection. The reflection assures him that he is more than just a reflection and reaches out to his hand that Orm grips from the water and goes back to meet face to face with a double of himself. Unfortunately, by making his double real, Orm erases himself from reality and the double takes the name Snow King and then reveals to Orm that he was born out of the troll’s promise to never lie again before locking him in the other side of the mirror. Orm helplessly watches the Snow King freeze Gerda and her other friends until he finds the strength to unleash himself upon realizing that Snow King was actually born out of his lies. Refusing to let his evil double take its course, Orm managed to free his friends from the ice by confessing the harsh truth to them. Snow King then tries to force him back into the mirror, while doubting Orm would be able to never lie again in his life but Orm screams out loud that this is what he wants and throws Snow King into the mirror, ending its existence by making it again Orm normal reflection.
Brought back to the city of the trolls to be judged because of what he did, Orm is however forgiven by the king because it is thanks to his courage that he was able to stop his vile alter-ego. Arrog then shakes Orm’s hand with new respect for him and Orm renews his friendship with Gerda.
The Snow Queen 3 : Fire and Ice
Sleeping quietly in his house, Orm is awakened by the snowballs of his young cousins, triggering a family bickering. During the snowball fight, Orm receives a visit from Kai, Gerda and Alfida. In the evening, while everyone is having lunch sympathetically, a young Spaniard named Rollan, who visits Orm regularly arrives unexpectedly to hear another legend. Following an unexpected adventure of Gerda and Rollan, the land of trolls begins to plunge into a swirl of temperatures after the two young humans absorbed the powers of the Wishing Stone. When Gerda gives up her icy powers, Rolland lets himself be corrupted by his fire demon and transforms into a gigantic monster.
The Snow Queen 4 : Mirrorlands
Orm joins Gerda in her quest to stop the King Harald, a hater of magic who banishes magicians and magical creatures to the Mirrorlands where the Snow Queen is also locked up. Unlike his previous appearances, he is armed with two swords. Like the others, he is quite reluctant to trust a Rollan who is still alive despite his apparent disappearance. When he infiltrates Harald’s castle with his friend, Orm is outraged that a soldier has dared to banish a poor old magician without any qualms. He becomes even more angry when he hears Harald say that the banishment of the Magicians is essential, causing him to charge the monarch but is knocked out by the king’s taser. He is then locked in the Mirrorlands with Kai while the others are imprisoned in the dungeon. Ultimately, Harald has a change of heart after his own son self-banishes himself into the mirror world, leading to the release of Orm, the magicians, and even the redeemed Snow Queen.

Exhausted by the journey, Orm fainted in the form of a ferret at the door of the orphanage before being picked up by a young boy named Kai who turns out to be the descendant of Vegard he had come to get. The troll then wakes up in a barrel of coal and sees the flask shining, then heads out of the barrel and sees Kai talking with a girl named Gerda, understanding that he has finally found the descendant of Vegard. After seeing the director of the orphanage throw Kai’s drawings into the boiler, Orm sees an opportunity to manipulate the boy with emotions by telling him that he has a unique artist talent and by promising him send to a place where there are many people like him. Kai asks him some time to think about what Orm accepts but gives him until tonight to take his deciscion because he can only invoke the north wind when he sees the North Star.
In the evening, Orm joins Kai in the boiler room to take him away but he realizes that the flask is shining for something else, so the troll asks the boy if he has family, which Kai responds that he had a sister but he does not remember her because he was just a baby. Having no desire to look for another descendant of Vegard, Orm tries to convince Kai to get out that his sister died with their parents until Gerda who listened to everything behind the door shows up after realizing that she was the lost sister of Kai. Luta, Gerda’s weasel sniffs Orm before Gerda picks her up but drops her father’s magic mirror, which has the power to reveal the true nature of things and therefore when Orm looks in, the mirror drops a magic flash that overturns the troll on the ground while revealing its true form. In the fall the flask breaks, invoking the north wind that carries the four people. Orm clings to Kai’s legs, but Luta grabs his nose and hits his left eye before biting his nose, spanking him with Gerda who had grabbed his leg. While Kai is taken to the Ice Kingdom, the other three fall into the mountain.
The troll wakes up at the top of a tree and blames Gerda for all failed until the girl attacks him with snowball. Intrigued by her magic mirror, Orm asks her where she got it and learns that she has always had it but he lowers his guard and receives a snowball in the face and falls from the tree although he is sure she is another Vegard child. Gerda then forces him to drive her to Kai, whom Orm refuses but he ends up giving in after Luta tries to twist his ankle. The ice then gives way under his feet and the troll falls on the icy slope and fails to fall into the ravine until Gerda and Luta on another ice surf can manage to intercept it in time just before crashing in a mysterious garden.
Inside, Orm suggests stealing something to eat what Gerda dislikes who prefers asked the occupants of it, amusing Orm who tells Gerda that she does not know much about human nature before throwing a stone in the grass to reveal a trap. When an old woman arrives, Orm prefers to disappear to avoid spinning a heart attack. When the old lady offers tea to Gerda, the little girl gives Luta a biscuit that makes Orm envy until the white weasel eats it under his nose, which makes him anxious. When Luta hunts a butterfly, Orm grabs her by the neck and is about to take revenge for what she did to her during the tornado of the north wind until Luta tells her that the old lady has bad intentions for Gerda. Orm discovers that the old woman who turns out to be a witch to plans to have Gerda drink a potion of amnesia after drinking it himself. He exposes the witch in front of Gerda who decides to leave but the witch refuses and attacks the trio with giant plants. After a chase through the garden, Orm, Gerda and Luta manage to reach the exit door and escape the witch.
Continue the journey to the Ice Kingdom, Orm makes fun of Gerda for having trusted the witch too much, although she accepts his fault while thanking him for saving him, which pushes the troll to make the swagger by saying that it can turn into a polar bear. They then enter the caves where the bloody battle of the trolls took place. While trying to make Gerda understand that he was the only surviving troll of the battle describing himself stronger and brave than he really was that day he finds himself at the very top and asks Gerda to leave before and that he will join her after. As she descends, Orm begins to question her so-called friendship with the girl until the Snow Queen appears in the reflection of the ice. Orm accidentally reveals that he is being beaten by the girl and the weasel who is enervating the queen who calls him a stupid incompetent good-for-nothing and that she will freeze him if he fails once more before disappearing, leaving the troll to his despair. Orm arrives just in time to stops Gerda to watching the Lake of Truth as he warned her about the lake when they arrived. As he crosses the ice bridge overhanging the lake, Orm slips and struggles to grasp but fortunately for him, Gerda helps him back up until the cave begins to collapse on them. In extremis, they manage once more to escape death.
Outside again, they are attacked by a slightly stamped king who was hunting , until he is stuck on a tree in the meanwhile. They bring the king back to his castle, which he shares with his two children until one of his children accidentally sets the castle on fire. Surviving the events, the trio is offered a sled by the royal family to thank them for helping them to become a family again. On the way, pirates lure the trio into a trap and take them as prisoners into their ships, which stood on a frozen sea. Gerda convinced them that she could defeat the evil queen. Advised by the captain, the trio goes to a shaman who refuses to let Orm enter her igloo because he is a troll, forcing him to freeze outside. Once the shaman tells Gerda the story and how to defeat the Snow Queen, the trio make the way to the Ice Kingdom.
While they are in sight of the castle of Snow Queen, Orm having too much fear of what will happen tries to divert their sailing boat advancing thanks to the wind, Gerda tries to stop him but the boat spills. Recovering from the fall, Orm tries to dissuade Gerda from continuing because according to him, it is impossible to defeat the queen, only for the girl calls him a coward what the troll answer he prefers to be a coward alive that a dead hero. As she leaves, Gerda says with disappointment that she believed that he had really changed, leaving the troll alone again.
After a change of heart, Orm goes to the castle and comforts Gerda saddened by the apparent death of Kai. The Snow Queen suddenly appears before them to finish his work. The demonic queen congratulates Orm for completing his mission and gives him back his freedom, but the troll asks that in favor of all his years at the services of the queen who have only been suffering for him, she let Gerda leave only for the queen him answer that it was both very brave on his part but especially totally stupid to have dared to ask him such a thing and that it will make him regret once it will be finished with Gerda. Orm continues to stand up to him until the Snow Queen tries to turn Gerda against Orm, telling her that he is not his friend and that he will never be anything but a vulgar cowardly troll. Stung by this latest insult to him, Orm screams his name angrily, pushing the Snow Queen to summon his ice monsters for all killed. In the fight Orm managed to change polar bear by saving Luta before competing with the north wind itself against which it is not match.
Before being finished by the monster, Orm is saved by Gerda who has managed to defeat the Snow Queen by transforming her into who she really is: a little girl named Irma. With the queen gone, the castle collapses but everyone survives. Orm having lost consciousness during his last fight resumes its normal form but still unconscious. Luta managed to wake him up by biting his nose and although the troll got angry because she had to start again, he calmed down immediately after the weasel gave him a soft hug.
The Snow Queen 2
After the previous film events and serves as the main protagonist, Orm returned to live among his fellows but he refrained from telling them that he had been the servant of the Snow Queen for fear of being rejected.
At the beginning of the film, Orm goes to Lake of Truth still intact to both confess his mistakes, remember his adventures with Gerda and make the promise never to tell lies again.
Orm lives at his grandmother’s house with Luta while Gerda and Kai are out at their orphanage. Things begin to escalate quickly for the poor troll: he loses his job at the mine after disrespecting Arrog, one of the best knights in the troll realm, and the greedy banker threatens to seize his grandmother’s house.
Desperate, Orm looks at his reflection that seems to be alive and advises him to participate in the competition to marry the niece of the troll king, Princess Maribel and thus save his miserable situation. During the contest, Orm says that it was he who beat the Snow Queen and not Gerda who was right there when he told this lie, creating a deep tear in their friendship.
As Orm’s situation begins to get better thanks to his lies, a mysterious wave of magical cold from the fallen Kingdom of the Snow Queen comes to the trolls and kidnaps the princess and takes her to the ice castle. Orm, accompanied by other trolls left along with General Arrog to save his «promised» while his reflect begins to become more alive and pushes him more in a darker way.
During the journey, relations between Orm and the others deteriorate more and more until the liar troll ends up dropping them to arrive alone at the ice castle.
Arrived at destination, Orm begins to regret having lied to everyone and to have hurt Gerda but his reflection tries to convince him otherwise, to which Orm tries to pay no attention because he does not is that its reflection. The reflection assures him that he is more than just a reflection and reaches out to his hand that Orm grips from the water and goes back to meet face to face with a double of himself. Unfortunately, by making his double real, Orm erases himself from reality and the double takes the name Snow King and then reveals to Orm that he was born out of the troll’s promise to never lie again before locking him in the other side of the mirror. Orm helplessly watches the Snow King freeze Gerda and her other friends until he finds the strength to unleash himself upon realizing that Snow King was actually born out of his lies. Refusing to let his evil double take its course, Orm managed to free his friends from the ice by confessing the harsh truth to them. Snow King then tries to force him back into the mirror, while doubting Orm would be able to never lie again in his life but Orm screams out loud that this is what he wants and throws Snow King into the mirror, ending its existence by making it again Orm normal reflection.
Brought back to the city of the trolls to be judged because of what he did, Orm is however forgiven by the king because it is thanks to his courage that he was able to stop his vile alter-ego. Arrog then shakes Orm’s hand with new respect for him and Orm renews his friendship with Gerda.
The Snow Queen 3 : Fire and Ice
Sleeping quietly in his house, Orm is awakened by the snowballs of his young cousins, triggering a family bickering. During the snowball fight, Orm receives a visit from Kai, Gerda and Alfida. In the evening, while everyone is having lunch sympathetically, a young Spaniard named Rollan, who visits Orm regularly arrives unexpectedly to hear another legend. Following an unexpected adventure of Gerda and Rollan, the land of trolls begins to plunge into a swirl of temperatures after the two young humans absorbed the powers of the Wishing Stone. When Gerda gives up her icy powers, Rolland lets himself be corrupted by his fire demon and transforms into a gigantic monster.
The Snow Queen 4 : Mirrorlands
Orm joins Gerda in her quest to stop the King Harald, a hater of magic who banishes magicians and magical creatures to the Mirrorlands where the Snow Queen is also locked up. Unlike his previous appearances, he is armed with two swords. Like the others, he is quite reluctant to trust a Rollan who is still alive despite his apparent disappearance. When he infiltrates Harald’s castle with his friend, Orm is outraged that a soldier has dared to banish a poor old magician without any qualms. He becomes even more angry when he hears Harald say that the banishment of the Magicians is essential, causing him to charge the monarch but is knocked out by the king’s taser. He is then locked in the Mirrorlands with Kai while the others are imprisoned in the dungeon. Ultimately, Harald has a change of heart after his own son self-banishes himself into the mirror world, leading to the release of Orm, the magicians, and even the redeemed Snow Queen.

- Orm is the narrator of the first two films.
- After the first film, Orm no longer used his metamorphic ability. Besides, no other Troll has demonstrated this ability, which suggests that it was the Snow Queen who gave him this power.
- In the second and third films, Orm had welcomed Luta into his home, but in the fourth film, the weasel returned to live with Gerda and her family.

Личность
Неизвестно, что конкретно могло подтолкнуть Орма на службу могущественной Снежной Королеве. Трусливый тролль избежал прямого участия в гражданской войне огромной ценой. В течение долгого времени он считал себя единственным выжившим. Унизительное отношение повелительницы холода негативно сказалось на характере Орма: он позабыл о таких явлениях, как забота, щедрость и любовь. Для успешного выполнения поручений королевы он старается войти в доверие.
Кроме этого, Орм демонстрирует высокую самооценку во время рассказа о трагичной судьбе своего народа. Он также не лишён острого языка («Да храни меня Северный Ветер, скажи ты ей, что тебя зовут Марта!»).
Во время путешествия с Гердой и Лутой Орм постепенно проникается добротой девочки, хотя и пытался объяснить, что спас её от колдуньи-цветочницы «машинально». К концу фильма он также привязался к белому хорьку. Он попытался удержать Герду от встречи со Снежной Королевой, когда до цели осталось совсем немного. Непонимание вызвало у неё подозрение, что тролль снова струсил, на что тот ей ответил, что трусом быть лучше, чем мёртвым героем. Уже во дворце Орм утешает плачущую Герду, а затем открыто заявляет Королеве, что он больше ей не принадлежит. К нему стало возвращаться прежде утраченное самоуважение.

Снежная королева является образом вечной зимы и смерти. Это очень умная и красивая женщина, но её красота не несёт добра, королева является воплощением зла и вечного безмолвия. Она не способна испытывать чувств, всегда спокойна и равнодушна.

Главный герой, названый брат Герды.
Добрый и отзывчивый мальчик, смелый и сильный. Он с уважением относится к старенькой бабушке, нежно любит Герду. Характеристика героев сказки Снежная королева Андерсена
«Снежная королева», произведение писателя из Дании, Ганса Андерсена, опубликованного в 1844 году, повествует о дружбе двух маленьких детей, Кая и Герды. Сказка воспитывает в людях добро, дает понятие искренней дружбы, преданности и уважения.
Главные герои сказки
Центральный образ сказки — Снежная королева, живущая в далекой заснеженной стране Лапландии. Живет она в огромном, ледяном, холодном дворце, где все покрыто серебристым снегом, а льдинки блестят и переливаются как драгоценные камни. Таким же холодом веет и от самой королевы, она не знает, что такое тепло человеческих отношений, не понимает почему люди волнуются, переживают, ведь спокойствие, это очень хорошо. Она равнодушна и бездушна. Приходит она только зимой, замораживает все живое, ручьи, птичек, растения и уезжает к себе во дворец.
Мальчик Кай, удивительно добрый и внимательный к своей бабушке, дружит с девочкой Гердой. Их дружба настолько крепкая, что все называют их назваными братом и сестрой. Кай старается во всем помогать бабушке, а вместе с Гердой, они выращивают розу, символ их дружбы. Осколок стекла, попавший в сердце мальчика, совершенно его изменяют. Кай становится злым и равнодушным. Он никак не реагирует на призывы вернуться домой и не ездить кататься на санях Снежной королевы, обвиняет всех в трусости. Он восхищается правильной геометрической формой снежинок и льдинок, но ничто не может его взволновать. Только любовь Герды смогла отогреть замерзшее сердце мальчика.
Девочка Герда, веселая, добрая, очень любит Кая и его бабушку, смело бросается в погоню за Снежной королевой, чтобы вернуть Кая домой. Выдержала все испытания, которые возникли на ее пути, победила в испытании магией, нашла друзей и помощников в лице принца и принцессы, смогла уговорить маленькую разбойницу отпустить ее и добралась до дворца Снежной Королевы. Ее целеустремленность и сила воли довели ее до Кая, и ее любовь помогла растопить лед в сердце мальчика.
Второстепенные герои
На пути Герды появляются второстепенные герои, одна из них волшебница вечно цветущего сада. Ей хочется оставить девочку у себя, она пытается магическим образом убрать воспоминания из головы девочки. Но, чары остаются бессильными перед настоящей дружбой.
Принц и принцесса, к которым пришла Герда, в надежде найти своего названого брата Кая, оказались хорошими друзьями. Услышав историю поисков Герды, они не только не обиделись на Герду за вторжение, а помогли ей снарядить поисковую экспедицию, дали карету, лошадей, одежду и отправили дальше в дорогу.
Маленькая разбойница, живущая в банде вместе с матерью, воспитывает сама себя. У нее в неволе живут животные и птицы, которых разбойница мучает, заставляет бояться себя, ей это нравится. Она дерзит матери и другим разбойникам. Упрямо пытается задержать у себя Герду, в виде игрушки. В конце концов, оказывает помощь Герде, отправляя с ней оленя, которому известна дорога ко дворцу Снежной королевы.

Можно сказать о том, что работы и сборники произведений данного замечательного автора являются популярными и известными. Он уделял особое внимание тому вопросу, чтобы произведения имели направленность и цель быть понятыми детской аудиторией. Данное произведение относится именно к такому жанру. По одной из версий, образ главной злодейки в нем, автор подчерпнул из реальной жизни, где за прототип данного образа он взял девушку, в которую был безответно влюблен. Стоит отметить, что образ Снежной Королевы он показал довольно ярко и интересно. По его замыслу, проживала героиня в северном крае, где была вечная мерзлота и обильные снегопады. Будучи весьма хладнокровной и бездушной женщиной, она проживала во дворце, сотворенном изо льда. Когда она смотрит куда-либо, то от ее взгляда становится жутко и холодно, а сама она обладает морозным дыханием, которое сеет ужас и смерть. Несмотря на все это, она обладала невероятной красотой, и была достаточно умна. Но такая красота не несет ничего положительного, так как ее философия заключается в разрушениях и страхе. Ей не дано испытывать какие-либо чувства, она всегда и ко всему равнодушна и безэмоциональна.
Показан и образ мальчика по имени Кай, который попадает в руки Снежной Королевы, которая переделывает героя, делая из довольно мягкого и доброго ребенка, злого и безразличного человека. Вначале он очень сильно любил свою семью, в лице бабушки и сестры Герды. Но, когда осколок зеркальца попадает ему в сердце, то оно становится холодным и злым. Тогда мальчик перестает быть прежним, и предстает перед читателем довольно плохим персонажем.
Помимо брата, показана и Герда, которая должна сразиться с довольно сильным и коварным противником, который ко всему прочему обладает магической силой. Ей предстоит самой не стать жертвой данных чар, которые могут быть наложены на нее для того, чтобы превратить в очередную жертву ледяной Королевы. Она невероятно любит своего братца Кая, и поэтому без малейшей доли раздумий отправляется на его поиски, которые заканчиваются весьма успешно. Однако, на ее пути предстают самые различные препятствия и преграды, которые Герде предстоит пройти для того, чтобы выполнить свою миссию. Она оказывается невероятно упорной и смелой девочкой, которой все же удается победить злую колдунью, которая несмотря на упорное сопротивление, все же терпит поражение. Показан был в произведении и образ волшебницы, которая встретилась на пути у Герды, когда она искала брата. Она вначале пыталась оставить девочку у себя в саду, однако Герде удалось выбраться из-под чар. Положительными героями на ее пути становятся принцесса вместе с принцем, которые дали ей одежду, и очень сильно помогли ей.
